Yes, Thailand has surf! Best from April thru November on the Andaman coast. But don't be surprised to find waves year-round at Cape Pakarang. There are head high days but it's mostly small, warm and playful. Khao Lak is perfect for learning to surf. From sandy beach breaks to coral reef, there is something for everyone. The best spots are Nang Thong beach, Bang Niang river mouth, Khuk Khak beach and Cape Pakarang reef.
